Happy National Chocolate Cupcake Day! 🧁 For me, it is NASCAR Sunday! 🏁 Mr. Bearden and I are going to the Phoenix race today. I'm hoping for a Ford Mustang win. 😎

Eagle Canyon is proud to be named a 2026 Educational Results Partnership Honor Roll school, which recognizes high-performing, achievement gap-closing schools across the nation. The Educational Results Partnership Honor Roll, sponsored by the Campaign for Business and Education Excellence, is the only school award given in collaboration with state and local business leaders. The Honor Roll is a valuable resource for all schools to identify successful peers and learn about best practices that are improving student achievement. For more info on @edresults and the ERP Honor Roll program, visit: www.edresults.org.

On Tuesday, the CVUSD Nutrition Services team is hosting a Pumpkin Patch for our students. Each class will get to visit the pumpkin patch, where each student will get to pick a small pumpkin, and each class will get a medium-sized pumpkin for the classroom.

The Halloween Haul competition continues to grow at Eagle Canyon. There is still one more Friday to turn in candy. Thanks to your generosity, our students will have the best Trunk or Treat ever.

The class that brings the most will earn a pizza party. It looks like Ms. Le's class surprised everyone with 38 bags. Check out the results below.  Which class will win on Friday?

If you are interested in signing up for Trunk or Treat, spaces are going quickly. Each participating car gets up to four free tickets to the Fall Family Festival.

Thank you for supporting our school!

Mrs. Bearden

I am sorry that I have not been as available to support the traffic at arrival and dismissal. I appreciate our families who are working together to ensure everyone arrives and goes home safely.

Recently, I have been made aware of concerns in the neighborhood across from Eagle Canyon. The neighbors are feeling frustrated and are ready to contact the authorities to have vehicles towed.

As a reminder, we want to treat people the way we want to be treated. Please avoid blocking driveways or parking in front of trash cans. I have had reports that the trash truck cannot empty trash cans because vehicles are double-parking in front of them.

I appreciate your help in maintaining positive relationships with all of our neighbors.
