The Trunk or Treat spots are filling up fast for the Fall Family Festival. Be sure to sign up soon if you plan to participate. I know Mrs. Madkin is looking forward to helping me judge the decorations.

Thank you to the families who have donated candy for the Fall Family Festival games and Trunk or Treat. We are in need of more donations. If you can, please bring a bag of candy to the front office. Michelle, Daniel, and Julie will ensure the PTA receives the donations.

Flyers will go home this week for Corps Academy. If your 4th, 5th, or 6th grader is interested in Colorguard or Drumline, be on the lookout. Sessions are held on Thursdays beginning October 23rd after school for ten weeks.

The Thinknlocal administrators and Eagle Canyon PTA have extended the fundraiser period. Please continue to scan your receipts to support our students.

Thank you for your support with the Box Tops push. Mr. Rich informed me that Box Tops extended the window to earn $10 for people downloading the app, supporting our school, and scanning their first receipt. Please encourage your family to support our school. All the funds benefit our students.

Eagle Canyon thrives because of our parent volunteers. In order to ensure everyone understands the expectations for volunteering on campus or on a field trip, the Eagle Canyon PBIS Tier 1 developed a Parent Volunteer Agreement. Beginning October 1, we would like any volunteers to complete the form as a prerequisite for volunteering. The electronic form is linked below. Volunteers must only complete it once for the 2025-26 school year. A copy of your responses will be emailed to you. Thank you to the 98 volunteers who have completed the Google Form.

On Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 8:00 a.m., Eagle Canyon will continue its annual tradition of recognizing our local veterans. If you or a family member has served or is currently serving in one of the armed forces, we would love you to participate in our rally. It is important for our students to understand the sacrifices you have made or make on a regular basis for us.

Eagle Canyon's student attendance will be a focus this year. Attendance in school leads to better performance for children when they are adults.

Another way you can support our PTA and celebrate your child's birthday is to purchase a birthday greeting for $25 that will be displayed on your child's birthday and run for one week. If interested, please stop by the office, complete the request, and submit the payment. Please be sure to plan. We need two weeks' notice before the birthday to ensure everything is timed correctly.

The kids get so excited seeing their birthday highlighted on the marquee. Out of safety, we will never publish your child's last name, only the initial.

Our amazing Eagle Canyon PTA Board has a year of fun planned for our community. Because of your support, they can continue to provide financial support for field trips, culminating activities, grade-level performances, and schoolwide activities. Use the button below to access the link to join.

Each month, Eagle Canyon will focus on teaching students about a character trait. We will share it during our Monday Morning Rallies, and teachers will reinforce it by recognizing one student each month for a monthly award.

A popular fundraising opportunity all families can support is Box Tops. Download the Box Top app on your phone. You must scan your receipts on the Box Top app within 14 days of purchasing. The app will let you know if any purchased items qualify to earn 10 cents per product. If there are not any items, you will still have an opportunity to enter the sweepstakes to win 500 bonus Box Tops. Every receipt has the potential to earn our school money.

As of today, our school has earned $1,209.60 this year. Our goal is to earn $1,500. Be sure to select the grade level that you want to support. Shout out to First Grade! They have submitted the most Box Tops since July 1, 2025. Thank you for your support!
